Hint Hint... !

With all of my must haves, one might think, "She is asking for the impossible!" On the contrary, anything is possible if we believe it to be so.

If I were batting for the other team (oh geez, really??), I would look for a small fixer upper in our desired neighborhood and renovate it to our liking, or find a piece of land and build it ourselves.



Let's not forget that my dad is a retired structural engineer whose most recent build looks similar to the house above. With his guidance -- and given the sheer simplicity of this layout -- why can't we build a house like that?

There might even be a homeowner nearby with a big backyard who would be willing to let us build on the property.

Anything is possible, as I've said before.
